Juniors may be members of NRA-affiliated clubs in lieu of individual NRA mambership. DIRECTIONS TO THE RANGE: From exit 30 on I-5 proceed North on Hwy 62 (Crater Lake Highway) approximately 5 miles to Hwy 140. Right on 140 2.25 mile to Kershaw Road. Right on Kershaw Road approximately 1/4 mile to the entrance of the sports park on the left. ENTRIES AND INFORMATION: Using the enclosed form send entries to Jim Rice, 11 S. Shooters not registering for both days must pay an additional $5.50 NRA registration fee. $5.00 for practice on Friday. Mar 28 Fees include payment of target operators. RULES: 2007 rules for U.S. Fullbore Rifle Competition. The rule book may be downloaded from the NRA competitions website. TARGETS: Fullbore Tgt Rifle and NRA Mid Range: MR63 for 300 yards, MR65 for 500 yards, MR-1 for 600 yards,LR for Long Range. F-Class MR63FC for 300 yards, MR65FC for 500 Yards, MR1FC for 600 yards LRFC for long range. CATEGORIES: A-Category: Rifles chambered for the unmodified .308 Winchester cartridge or the .223 Winchester cartridge and weighing not more than 14 lbs, 5oz. Any safe trigger. Metallic sights. Bullet weight not greater than 156 grains for the 308 or 80 grains for the .223. F-Category: Any rifle of a caliber not greater than .35 and weighing not more than 22 lbs. Any sights. May be fired from a front rest, a rear rest, or both. The Rifle Butt must contact the shoulder. F-T/R: As defined in Fullbore rule book..308 or .223 with bipod. Awards will be provided for this category providing there are 5 or more entries. Otherwise this category will be combined with F-class. NRA MID=RANGE: As defined in the NRA Highpower Rule Book. This is essentially for shooters firing from the prone position (with sling) without restrictions on rifle or caliber. Two categories, metallic sights and any sights. MR-63, MR-65 AND MR-1 TARGETS. 300, 500 and 600 yards. CLASSES: Shooter holding an NRA classification for Fullbore will compete in that class. Shooters not classified in Fullbore but classified in Long-Range Will compete in their Long-Range Class. Temporary classifications based on Long-Range or Fullbore scores will be accepted. Unclassified shooters will compete in the Master class. AWARDS: As generous as possible. Each category and class competes for its own awards. Special awards for Junior, Woman, Senior (60 and over), Grand Senior (70 and over) SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Firing will commence at 9:00 AM on Saturday Mar 29 and Sunday Mar 30. Practice firing on Friday Mar. 28 will commence at 1:00 P.M. . SATURDAY Mar 29 INDIVIDUAL MATCH 1: 2 Convertible sighters and 15 shots for record at 300. Match 2 2 convertable sighters and 15 shots at 500. Match 3, 2 sighters and 15 shots at 600 yards. Match 4 aggregate of matches 1, 2, and 3. Match 5: 2 convertible sighters and 15 shots at 900 yards. SUNDAY Mar 30same as Saturday schedule. Matches 6, 7, 8, and 9 except that match 9 will be fired from 1000 yards.
