Articles of IncorporationCertificate of Filing Articles of Incorporation To all to Whom These presents Come, Greeting: Know Ye, that whereas John P. Rush, Roy F. Hewitt, D. J. Bolton, Octavia B. Waddell and Harry W. Heidenrich, Jr. having presented Articles for a Nonprofit Corporation, organized and formed under and pursuant to the Laws of the State of Oregon and having paid the required organization fee: Now, Therefore, I, Maurice Hudson, Corporation Commissioner of the State of Oregon, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that said Articles of Incorporation have been filed in the office of the Corporation Commissioner; that the name assumed by said corporation is MEDFORD RIFLE & PISTOL CLUB INC. the duration perpetual; the object, business or pursuit in which the corporation proposes to engage is as follows: To promote better acquaintance and closer association among its members, encourage organized rifle and pistol shooting among citizens of the United States resident in this community, with a view toward the better knowledge on the part of such citizens of the safe handling and proper care of firearms and the improvement of marksmanship. It shall further be the object of this corporation to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism. the estimated value of its property and money Six Hundred Fifty and 00/100 ($650.00) Dollars; the location of idts principal office at Medford, in the County of Jackson, State of Oregon; the date of filing its Articles of Incorporation, the 12th day of April, A.D. 1951; and the amount of the organization fee paid Five and 00-100 ($5.00) Dollars. ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF
MEDFORD RIFLE & PISTOL CLUB INC.
We, John F. Rush, Roy Hewitt, D.J. Bolton,
Octavia B. Waddell, and Harry W. Heidenreich Jr.,
whose names are hereunto subscribed, desiring to
form a corporation under and by virtue of Chapter
452, Oregon Laws, 1941, providing for the creation
of non-profit corporations, do hereby associate
ourselves together and make and execute in
triplicate the following Articles of Incorporation,
to-wit:
ARTICLE I
The name assumed by this corporation, and by
which it shall be known is the MEDFORD RIFLE &
PISTOL CLUB INC., and its duration shall be
perpetual.
ARTICLE II
The object, business, or pursuit in which
this corporation proposed to engage is as follows:
To promote better acquaintance and closer
association among its members, encourage organized
rifle and pistol shooting among citizens of the
United States resident in this community, with a
view toward the better knowledge on the part of
such citizens of the safe handling and proper
care of firearms and the improvement of
marksmanship. It shall further be the object of
this corporation to forward the development of
those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship,
self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance
which are the essentials of good sportsmanship
and the foundation of true patriotism.
ARTICLE III
The estimated value of the property and money
possessed by this corporation at the time of
executing these articles of incorporation is
$650.00, and its revenues shall be derived from
dues of its members, iniation fees, gifts and
donations from its friends.
ARTICLE IV
The names and official titles, and the
postoffice addresses of the persons executing
these articles are:
John F. Rush, President and Director,
Medford, Oregon.
Roy F. Hewitt, Vice Pres. and Director,
Medford, Oregon.
D. J. Bolton, Secretary and Director,
Medford, Oregon.
Octavia B. Waddell, Treasurer, Director,
Medford, Oregon.
Harry W. Heidenreich Jr. Director, Medford,
Oregon.
The foregoing persons shall constitute a
governing body which shall exercise the powers
of this corporation, and shall be called
directors, and shall be chosen from the membership
of the corporation in good standing at the annual
meeting each year.
ARTICLE V
The successors to the Board of Directors,
consisting of five members shall be elected
annually, at the annual meeting to be held on the
Fourth Monday in October each year, at the office
of the Corporation in Medford, Oregon, and the
election of Officers from among the members of the
Board of Directors shall take place at the said
annaul meeting immediately after the election of
Directors.
ARTICLE VI
The location and principal place of business
of this corporation, and its principal office
shall be at Medford, in Jackson County, Oregon.

hands and seals this 9th day of April 1951.
